In tribute to my grandmother, who died in July, I’m redoing all of season 2 [in which Anneka's grandmother dies] with dolls, rather than digital renders. In another one of his flashbacks triggered by being around Anneka’s dying grandmother, Will remembers the time over 100 years ago when his old girlfriend, Absinthe, tried to vamp him.
