Staff evaluations

Ugh, writing self-evaluations for work is so painful, as is determining goals for the coming year. I can't think of anyone I've met who finds these chores exciting and enjoyable.

I do! I do! ... No, wait. I don't. Employee evals are about as fun as watching paint dry, knowing that the paint was the one who brought the popcorn to the party.

i got annoyed filling out my review form last year, when I saw the tag, "Only people working in departments where the sales have increased from last year will be eligible for a raise," or somesuch. Don't punish the black-and-white production department because the sales department orgasms over color printing!
