Novella as she is now

I buffed out any major scratches on Novella's face with 600 grit sandpaper this morning, then gave her some temporary eyes. I want to get her some bright glittery anguineous ones with slit pupils, but these purple DD-Annes will do for now. Then I snapped a few pictures.

Of course, I still have a substantial amount of work to do on her. Her left hand is floppy for some reason and, even though I tightened her body stringing, she's still a bit floppy. She needs appropriate eyes and neon snakes for hair. For her outfit, I have to swap her tights for a tighter pair [hah] and replace the white ribbons on her top with some bright, light color [basically anything but white]. She also needs a few layers of jewelry around her neck, as well as FUZZY RAINBOW LEGWARMERS decorated with pompoms. I'd love to get her some bright yellow platform heels, but I'm not sure they exist in her size. Hmmm...

I worked for two hours, and all I got was this lousy pair of lips.

Mellifer's new faceup so far, surrounded by some of my tools of the trade. Since this faceup was slightly more planned out than the way I usually do faceups ["Oh, this color looks good..." *scribble scribble*], there's my palette of possible colors on the left, though black got cut off. Prismacolor Crimson Red [PC924] is for the lip color, while the paint brush, Xacto, Prismacolor Colorless Blender and Pebeo are all for removing those really annoying particles of color that go where I don't want them to.

Sarcastic 1:6 zombies

Ever since I created Zinnia Pascale and enjoyed filming her biting [hah!] remarks toward stupid people, I've thought that doing a zombie Web comic with dolls would be a whole lot of fun. With Me and My Muses in full swing, this project would not get off the ground for a while, but I just might have discovered the germ of my next 1:6 saga...
