Doctor Z is done

The aforementioned colored pencil faceup stated smudging off on my fingers, so I recreated it with a base of purplish blue paint topped with blue and black for shadows and wrinkles. I made her wig out of a white mohair one that I made years ago, just trimmed down. I then tried to make her hair behave by mixing some diluted glue into it.

Oh Peter...

Why can't I get you right? I scraped off all of Peter's lumpy, indistinct eye paint this afternoon and redid his eyes yet again. I also styled his mohawk with diluted glue so that it stands in the appropriate position.

Peter is really hard to photograph. His dark skin and his black T-shirt just absorb light. I think I need to change his shirt.

I changed Peter's shirt.

Awesomeness has been achieved! The light blue reflects light, rather than eating it, while the added color makes him look more cheerful. Such an improvement from the black T-shirt!

Trail mix, take 2

Got more trail mix today in different combinations of ingredients than before. No carob chips this time, as they really make the mix taste funny. :(

• raisins x 1.96 lbs
• peanuts x 2.18 lbs
• cashews x 1.33 lbs
• cranberries x 0.87 lb

I know that the cranberries will make the mix SOUR, but hopefully the saltiness of the peanuts and the sweetness of the raisins will offset this flavor.
