USPS rate hike May 12th

First-class stamps up to 42c. Priority mail and postcards also increasing. Not sure about airmail. I send and receive very little US mail these days, but the news still makes me regretful.

Stock up on Forever stamps (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-forever-stamp.htm)! They're likely to be a better investment than... um, much of anything the way the economy's going. :P
