Oh good! I try to make it a point to open DW and LJ at the same time so I can read both but I feel like I'm missing out on posts sometimes.

Sorry also that I've been quieter than usual lately. I've really been enjoying reading (the doll posts especially are some much-needed levity in the stress), I just haven't had as much to say on anybody's journals as I tend to when I'm in a more... connected frame of mind.

Don't worry! My entry was not a passive-aggressive commentary on your silence. It was also not a backhanded way of soliciting comments. I was just realizing that, with my switch from LJ to DW, I left behind most of my readers and, ergo, most of the comments I used to get. I was thus wondering how to bring back audience response.

Eek no, I didn't mean it like that! (well, though you probably understood, if you're anything like me you were probably just keeping your bases covered). I just have felt genuinely kind of bad about not commenting so much lately. My flist in general has been somewhat harder to keep up with because I'm preoccupied and it's a bit busier than usual. None of which is a bad thing, and I doubt my friends expect me to comment on everything ever, I just have been kind of clinging to feeling more connected with everyone in that way because so many of us are having a tough time lately.

I don't mind using OpenID over here, since I don't have to really maintain a DW account in order to comment.
