Look ma -- no hands!
Jul. 27th, 2013 09:20 pmHere is Cola [short for her given name, Nicola, which she does not like]. She's a High School Musical Sharpay [?!!] head repainted by Andrea [of course!] in the style of Nicki Minaj. She came to me on a Fashionista body with repaired left hand, dressed in the leotard from Toy Story 2 Barbie.
I moved her onto the Liv body that I bought to supply hands for Prunella and added some sleeves and skirt [by Andrea], as well as some new shoes. Here she is hiding the fact that I haven't figured out what to use for her hands. I'm experiencing a hand shortage. :(

Her shoes are from ZC World Lucci, a fetish nurse action figure, whose footwear I purchased six pairs of from Good Stuff to Go when it was having its going-out-of-business sale toward the end of last year. I originally purchased them with the thought of repainting them in obnoxious colors; however, all the small populations that have used them so far have kept 'em white.
I really like these shoes. So far, I have Theophany, Novella, Prunella and now Cola wearing them. The shoes give their small feet a large, more stable standing surface, and the stiff plastic provides support. The larger size of the shoes also helps to make their feet seem more proportional. And they're neutral enough to go with a variety of outfits.
