Outdoor sets ideas
Nov. 11th, 2012 05:46 pmIn combination with the aforementioned fabric backdrops and grass mats, I've been thinking about the following for 1:6 scale outdoor sets...
I have some 1:6 leaves on garlands ["fauxliage," we're calling it -- thanks, Andrea!], both yellow and green, that I'd like to use to make little trees. I also have some paper towel tubes to make tree trunks, but I'm having a problem finding appropriate bark patterns.
I should also go to the nearby woods and just pick up some sticks to serve as trunks for thin trees. :p
The Doll Divas message board has a tutorial on how to make shrubs -- i.e., put green flocking on Styrofoam shapes.
