Lazy comic creation

melopoiea suggests a program like this, which converts photos into line drawings. I wonder if I could make this work for a comic strip. I could take pictures of characters in stereotyped positions, then mix and match parts...? I know that Oh My Gods!, a much simpler comic strip, uses preselected parts to construct the characters, and Two Lumps is just lazy, reusing images of the cats with different expressions. Maybe I could use a similar method WITH SLIGHTLY MORE FINESSE. [I miss LHF.]

Hell, if you just reuse stuff, you could just trace things yourself, and thus impart some of your own style. Color will help a lot btw....those two are all b/w I see, and Anneka wouldn't be quite the same with monochromatic hair.
